Writing for TV, Cable, and New Media

WRITING FOR TV, CABLE, AND NEW MEDIA

Bill TaubVeteran TV and pilot writer BILL TAUB will take us through the process of writing pilots and new series for television, cable, and new media. He will also lead our analysis and in-depth discussion of Chuck Rose’s pilot script, The Art of More, debuting November 19 on Sony’s Crackle streaming service.

The Art of MoreThe Art of More exposes crime and intrigue behind the glamorous facade of New York auction houses and the sparring over auction items worth millions of dollars. Beneath the glitz, it’s a ruthless story of money, sex, greed, and desperation. The ten-episode series is part procedural, with a new auction driving each episode’s narrative, in addition to exploring broader season arcs.

GENRES: Crime. Drama.

STARRING: Dennis Quaid (The Right Stuff, Far From Heaven), Kate Bosworth (Blue Crush, Superman Returns), Cary Elwes (The Princess Bride, Saw), Christian Cooke (Witches of East End).

SERIES CREATORS: Gardner Stern (The Practice), Chuck Rose (Almost Dangerous).
